What You'll Do
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for all phases of engineering production and BIM for a variety of work ranging from programming through construction administration. This includes interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating the design and production effort for one or more large or complex projects. Additionally, this engineer will:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
- Eight (8) years of experience in facility electrical engineering design
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required
- Proficient in using REVIT/AutoCAD.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical regulatory codes such as NEC, NESC, NFPA, IEE.
- Experience using electrical calculation tools is desired, including lighting software such as AGi32, Elum Tools, and power software such as SKM Power Tools, ETAP, or EasyPower.
- Successful candidates must be self-starting, motivated, innovative, articulate, self-disciplined, and confident in a demanding, exciting and fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel & Word.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Client projects for this position require U.S. Citizenship.
