AOCS/GNC Engineer

The successful candidate will be involved in the design, development and verification of Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS) and Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC) subsystems, supporting satellite projects throughout their different phases, from project kick-off through to customer acceptance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and development of AOCS/GNC subsystems;
- Design, development and verification of AOCS/GNC algorithms and software;
- Execution of AOCS/GNC analysis and simulation campaigns;
- Development of AOCS/GNC analysis and simulation tools;
- Support satellite projects from the initial phases through to customer acceptance;
- Support the preparation of proposals for satellite projects and system studies related to AOCS/GNC topics;
- Preparation of the related technical documentation.
- Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS);
- Guidance, Navigation and Control (GNC);
- Design, development and verification of AOCS/GNC algorithms;
- Software development in the AOCS/GNC domain;
- Estimation and Control Theory;
- Analysis and simulation of AOCS/GNC systems;
- Development of analysis and simulation tools;
- MATLAB/Simulink or comparable tool suites;
- Knowledge of development processes related to satellite projects and system studies.
- High level of motivation;

- Excellent conceptual skills;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work effectively in international teams;
- Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary technical environments.
- Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent qualification;
- At least 2 years of experience in the Space sector, particularly in AOCS/GNC subsystems and software;
- Good knowledge of estimation and control theory;
- Good knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or comparable tool suites;
- Excellent written and spoken English;
- Written and spoken German is considered a plus.

- Gross annual salary: €55,000 – €65,000;
