Position: Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - Cockpit

Location: Lucerne, Switzerland

Contract: Permanent contract, full-time position

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical designs for aircraft cockpit structures and components.

• Design metallic parts with focus on Design for Manufacturing (DfM).

• Support the complete product development lifecycle, from design through industrialization.

• Participate in Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR).

• Produce and maintain high quality 3D models, engineering drawings, and technical

documentation.

• Work closely with stress, manufacturing, certification, and systems engineering teams to

deliver compliant and manufacturable designs.

Our Ideal Candidate Should Have

• At least 10 years of experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer in the aeronautics industry.

• Proven experience in: Detailed Design, Design for Manufacturing (DfM), PDR and CDR

activities

• Strong experience designing primary and secondary aircraft structures.

• Solid knowledge of metallic structures and materials.

• Extensive experience designing cockpit structures and cockpit system installations.

• Proficiency with: Siemens NX, Teamcenter

• Fluent English.
