We're seeking a Senior Civil Engineer who is ready to build a career, not just fill a position. Working directly alongside our Principal Engineer, Mahyar Niroumand, P.Eng., you'll lead design work, supervise staff, and manage projects from concept through completion. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects including site servicing, drainage systems, and municipal infrastructure
- Design and review engineering drawings, specifications, and reports
- Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
- Coordinate with clients, municipalities, contractors, and consultants throughout project lifecycles
- Conduct site visits and field reviews across the Lower Mainland
- Ensure projects meet regulatory requirements, timelines, and quality standards
- Contribute to business development and client relationship building
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC)
- 5-10 years of progressive civil engineering experience, with substantial work in the Lower Mainland, BC
- Demonstrated expertise in civil infrastructure, drainage, and site servicing design
- Proven ability to manage projects independently and lead technical staff
- Strong understanding of BC Building Code, municipal bylaws, and local regulatory environment
- Valid BC driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites regularly
- Established roots or genuine commitment to the Chilliwack/Fraser Valley region
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other design software
- Existing relationships with Lower Mainland municipalities
- Project management certification or training
- Business development or client management experience
- Competitive salary of $100,000+ per year, commensurate with experience
