Airframe Structural Design Engineer (Military Derivatives)

Responsibilities
The main tasks of the jobholder will be:
- Design and develop structural aircraft components, assemblies, installations, and design solutions for A/C Derivatives programs using Catia V5, CSG Full3D, and modern design processes and tools.
- Establish design principles, Key Characteristics Design, interfaces, frontiers, interface points, materials, and detailed manufacturing process definitions.
- Participate actively in concurrent engineering processes with industrial and production teams with a customer-oriented approach throughout the end-to-end product lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with other Engineering Design offices (stress, analysis, loads, systems installation, armament, materials & processes, aerodynamics, DMU/CAD) to continuously refine interfaces.
- Manage and coordinate internal team members and external subcontracting companies.
- Provide technical support to various internal and external stakeholders (supply chain, quality, purchasing, manufacturing engineering, production, airworthiness, certification, and qualification).
- Education: Aeronautical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering degree, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience: Proven experience in Airframe Structural Design applying metallic and composites technologies to major components (Empennage, Fuselage, Wing, Weapons Bay, Doors, Mechanisms, or Military Systems).
- Soft skills: Strong communication skills, proactive attitude, high team-play spirit, and ability to manage internal people as well as external suppliers.
- Languages: Good level of English & Spanish (both written & spoken).
- Technical knowledge: Structural design, pre-sizing knowledge, configuration management, materials and manufacturing processes, modern CAD/DMU tools (Catia V5, CSG Full3D).
- Valuable / Nice to have: French language would be a desirable plus.
