Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide specialized expertise and recommendations in relation to Facilities, Sustainment, Restoration and Modernization (FSRM) projects.
- Plan, organize, and lead others in studies, designs, and construction projects, record and manage the processes and documentation, and negotiate effectively.
- Communicate effectively both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relationships.
- Safely operate a motor vehicle, navigating on both paved and gravel roads.
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Extensive knowledge of Building Code requirements, equipment troubleshooting, equipment diagnostics, & equipment evaluation required.
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and/or local regulations and statutes, Air Force and DoD regulations and other documentation.
- Assist with schedule support, project level meeting attendance, database support, and budget submittals.
- Assist with cost/schedules/status report reviews, scientific and technical research/document reviews/recommendations, and analysis of program and project data gaps.
- Must be detailed and safety oriented.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in either HVAC or Electrical building code requirements.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain government security clearance.
- Extensive knowledge of industry trends, technology, codes, and regulations.
- The ability to diagram designs both manually and with computer-aided drafting.
- Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Cost Estimating Software.
- Good team working and communication skills.
- An excellent working knowledge of science, mathematics, and engineering principles.
- Strong analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills.
