Job Summary
For our Stolberg site, we are looking for a technically skilled and project-oriented professional to support and lead engineering, maintenance, repair, infrastructure, mechanical and electrical projects. The role ensures that technical projects are implemented in line with internal procedures, quality standards, safety requirements, and applicable laws and regulations, in close collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Support and/or lead technical projects related to production equipment, infrastructure, maintenance, repair, and machine upgrades
- Document and track projects in the West project management system
- Collaborate with Production, Maintenance, HSE, Quality, and external partners to identify and implement improvements
- Provide technical expertise for rebuilds, upgrades, changes, and problem-solving activities
- Support change management, deviations, CAPAs, and investigations related to technical equipment and processes
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, HSE, safety, and internal quality requirements
- Create or support technical drawings for repairs, improvements, and equipment modifications
- Exchange knowledge with other West sites and external companies to optimize processes
- Support the development and update of SOPs, SOIs, specifications, and technical standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- More than 3 years of professional experience in a technical environment, ideally in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry
- Experience in leading or supporting technical projects, including mechanical and/or electrical design
- Knowledge of GMP and ISO requirements
- Strong German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Project management experience
- Basic knowledge of creating technical drawings using SolidWorks and/or Auto CAD 3D.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is an advantage
- Knowledge of vision systems for product quality inspection is an advantage
This position may be eligible for variable compensation and other incentive programs in accordance with the terms of the applicable plans within the country of employment.
