Brakes Design - Foundation Brakes

• Design and develop brake system components, including brake discs, brake drums, calipers, backing plates, brake pedals, brackets, and related assemblies using CATIA V5.
• Create and modify 3D models, 2D drawings, and assembly layouts.
• Prepare manufacturing drawings with GD&T in accordance with industry standards.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis and support design validation activities.
• Collaborate with CAE, Manufacturing, Testing, Purchasing, and Supplier Quality teams throughout the product development cycle.
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and Engineering Change Management (ECN/ECR).
• Ensure designs comply with customer specifications, automotive standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Support prototype development, testing, and production issue resolution.
• Maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and design records.
