Design Engineer – Transmission Design

Role Descriptions:

NOTE - Tool test is mandatory for any shortlisted candidates

Develop 3D models| engineering drawings for various automotive components.

Work with cross-functional teams| including project managers| technical specialists| and manufacturing teams| to integrate designs into the broader product development process. Participate in design reviews| providing feedback and technical expertise. Present design plans and project updates to clients and stakeholders. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the design and manufacturing phases. Ensure designs comply with industry/ customers standards and procedures. Contribute to project management by ensuring designs meet project requirements and timelines.

Desirable Skills

Strong modeling and detailing skills using Unigraphics Nx

Good understanding of Engineering Drawings| Interpretation & Application of GD&T

Good manufacturing process knowledge in sheetmetal/ castings/ plastics

Experience in Interior / Exterior components design

Experience in Chassis and BIW components design

Experience in Powertrain components design

Experience in Tool Design

Experience And Skills

2 to 8 years of experience working in Automotive Powertrain (Engine / Transmission) domain using Unigraphics NX (UGNX) software

Good understanding of Engineering Drawings, Interpretation and Application of GD&T and Manufacturing processes

Responsibilities

Create 3D Models and Drawings in Unigraphics NX (UGNX)

Educational Qualification

Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical/Automobile/Production engineering
