Senior ServiceNow Platform Architect (f/m/x)

Join a long-term digital transformation initiative within a highly regulated international organization operating in the healthcare sector. We are looking for an experienced architecture leader who will define the future direction of a large-scale enterprise service platform ecosystem. In this strategic role, you will drive architectural standards, technology roadmaps, governance practices, automation frameworks, and platform scalability while ensuring alignment with security, compliance, and business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional technology and business teams, providing technical guidance and influencing key architectural decisions across the organization.

Your tasks

• Define and maintain the target architecture, technology roadmap, design principles, and architectural standards for a complex enterprise platform landscape
• Act as the senior technical authority for solution design decisions, architectural governance, and exception management
• Establish best practices for service modeling, configuration management, data governance, and platform data relationships
• Design reusable patterns for integrations, workflow automation, API connectivity, and AI-enabled digital services
• Drive governance for user-facing service experiences, self-service capabilities, knowledge solutions, and intelligent virtual assistance
• Ensure platform reliability, security, scalability, maintainability, and long-term sustainability while coaching engineering teams and stakeholders

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience working with the ServiceNow platform, including experience in architecture, solution design, or platform governance roles
• Proven track record in designing and overseeing complex platform ecosystems in large enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, integration strategies, workflow automation, service modeling, configuration management, security, release management, and modernization practices, including deep knowledge of CSDM architecture and the ability to ensure CMDB design, service modeling, Discovery, Service Mapping, data relationships, and ownership patterns support the intended enterprise service model
• Experience defining architectural standards, managing technical debt, governing customization approaches, and supporting long-term platform evolution
• Solid understanding of AI-supported service capabilities, conversational interfaces, and employee-facing digital experience solutions, as well as familiarity with GxP practices and regulatory requirements within validated environments
• Fluent English and a university degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
