Job Title: Field Project Manager 

Hourly Rate: Depending on Experience. 

About Us: We are a veteran owned contractor, providing project, maintenance, and outage support throughout the United States.  Over the past 15 years we have proven to be a trusted partner for our clients while providing services that help power the world. 

Summary: We are looking for a skilled Project Manager. This project manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget.  Project managers plan and designate project resources, prepare budget, monitor progress, and keep communication open between clients and home office   

Responsibilities: 

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.  

  • Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources effectively and efficiently. 

  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements. 

  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques and standards throughout entire project execution. 

  • Adhere to all site and company rules, regulations, PPE requirements.   

  • Track project costs in order to meet budget. 

  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan. 

  • Provide project updates on a consistent basis to home office about strategy, adjustments and progress. 

  • Manage contracts with various vendors and suppliers.  

  • Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.  

  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

  • 5-8 years of project management with related experience in construction. 

  • Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (eg P6, MS Office, etc.) 

  • Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle.  

  • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful. 

  • Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline.  

  • Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel extensively and work variable hours. 

  • Able to pass background screens and drug/alcohol testing as required by our customers. 

  • TWIC card a plus. 

Physical Requirements 

  • Ability to work 10+ hours per day, up to 7 days/week 

  • Ability to work in both hot and cold conditions  

  • Ability to work in confined spaces if needed 

  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and work at heights 

  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and lift up to 20 pounds overhead
