About This Position
The Project Manager will help manage all Food Service operations within the region, promoting quality, cleanliness, and service. You will will also maintain quality standards to ensure service and be able to fill in at operations with vacant management positions. You will develop action plans at units that are not up to standards and be able to implement those action plans.
You will work onsite. You will report to the Director of Projects.
Essential Functions/Main Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership to project teams and lead project teams within area/department.
- Prepare and deliver informal and formal presentations to team, department, other IT teams, and partners.
- Seek training and developmental activities related to the industry and recommend for self and others.
- Establish performance metrics for the team and monitors to ensure compliance of established standards and procedures.
- Collaborate and partner with team members and functional peer groups.
- Informally and formally mentors less senior team members individually or as a group.
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor activities of project teams involved in the analysis, development of IT projects.
- Create status reports for project sponsors and IT end-users including indicators of project progress, risk, and success.
- Conduct weekly project issues/status meetings; documents and distribute results.
- Manage the integration of vendor tasks including tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables.
- Perform task automation and implement process improvements; recommend enhancements that result in increased quality and service.
- Maintain established service level agreements to manage customer expectations and quality standards; identify opportunities for improvement.
- Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent experience. Must be at least 18 years of age.
- We prefer at least five (5) years' of Corrections experience in a large-scale food service operation.
- We prefer previous multi-unit management experience.
- We desire experience with purchasing, inventory, ordering, receiving and cost control.
- We require proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
