Position Overview:
As the Technical Product Owner for M365 and Copilot productivity solutions, you will be responsible for helping define the end-to-end strategy, development, and ongoing management of our AI-driven productivity tools. This role has the agency and authority to drive prioritization decisions across the M365 and Copilot implementation backlog, balancing business value, user impact, risk, and readiness to ensure the right work is delivered at the right time. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams — including IT, Data Operations, IT Security, and business stakeholders — to gather requirements, define user stories, and prioritize features that leverage generative AI and machine learning. Your technical expertise and keen understanding of AI and productivity platforms will be crucial in aligning business objectives with innovative AI capabilities, while continuously driving ongoing improvements and introducing new capabilities as Copilot and the M365 ecosystem evolve. Embedding Copilot product ownership within AI Centers of Excellence to bridge end users, IT, data teams, governance partners, and leadership, this role will serve as the connective tissue between technical teams and its business strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Data & Analytics, or a related field.
- 8+ YOE
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or similar role in an agile environment, with a strong focus on AI-driven solutions, intelligent automation, or digital productivity tools.
- In-depth knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts, with familiarity in implementing or managing AI-powered platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 Copilot, OpenAI GPT-based services, Azure AI, or similar enterprise AI solutions).
- Deep understanding of Microsoft 365 Copilot specifically, including practical experience enabling users, designing prompts, and supporting Copilot usage across business scenarios.
- Preferred: Experience with core Microsoft 365 (Office 365) collaboration and productivity platforms—especially Teams and OneDrive (and related services such as SharePoint/Exchange as applicable). This background is helpful when defining and driving work that improves employee collaboration, content management, and day-to-day productivity.
- Preferred: Working knowledge of M365 service capabilities and constraints (e.g., Teams meeting/chat/channel experiences, OneDrive sync and sharing, information lifecycle, and common end-user productivity scenarios) and how platform configuration and governance choices impact adoption and user experience.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Able to translate complex AI concepts into clear business terms.
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess technical challenges, interpret data/AI performance metrics, and make informed product decisions.
- Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, capable of managing multiple initiatives, defining priorities, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Knowledge of identity and access management (including RBAC and PIM), data privacy, security best practices, and ethical considerations related to AI (such as model bias and compliance requirements) is a plus.
- Certifications or training related to AI, machine learning, or cloud platforms (for example, Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Microsoft Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Google Cloud Professional ML Engineer, or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)) are advantageous but not mandatory. Experience with IT infrastructure and integration of APIs or cloud services is also beneficial.
