How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
Pre-sales Phase:
ASSIST Business Development with the following:
- Development of the IP Architecture and Solution Description to be used for offer submission (and integration/dependencies with the E2E solution).
- Pre-determine a Physical and Logical Solution Architecture; partition and allocate system requirements and functionality to the architecture; analyze and evaluate alternative solutions; define subsystems and system elements and requirements.
- Identification of Key Technical Risks and Issues, develop mitigation plans
- Identification of roadmap gates ensuring time to market (for IP products and dependencies with non-Nokia products).
- Provide key inputs for technical decisions relating to system requirements and system architecture/design.
- System/Solution Requirements Development.
- Identification of key Use Cases; agreement on key acceptance criteria.
- Derive products and solution requirements in line with the SOW and solution description while being fully coordinated with project management, design and deployment team; perform requirements designation and importance analysis; perform verifiability analysis; perform risk analysis.
- Development of E2E Solution Architecture and support to High-Level Design (multiple technology domains).
- Determine a Physical and Logical Solution Architecture; partition and allocate system requirements and functionality to the architecture; analyse and evaluate alternation solutions; define subsystems and system elements and requirements.
- Perform Use Case Analysis, scenario determination and develop sequence diagrams to support the requirements analysis, architecture & high-level design activities.
- Review HLD/LLD/Interface Specification
- Proactively seek to identify and address technical risks. In co-operation with the PM/TPM conduct risk assessments on the project and all suppliers; identifying and executing mitigation strategies to limit impact; support on reporting of risk exposure (cost, schedule, other); escalating, as appropriate.
- Review roadmap alignment with solution to be implemented with PLM engagement.
- Technical support, manage, review 3rd party suppliers and vendors - including:
- Ensuring that all parties involved in the solution development (SI project team, the customer, 3rd party suppliers, subsystem design teams) clearly understood their technical scope/objectives (through document reviews, workshops, presentations, informal Q&A)
- Reviewing and assessing the technical progress of all suppliers – including 3rd Parties.
- Masters in Engineering and/or 10+ years of experience in the telecom industry, dealing with IP technologies.
- Knowledgeable on Virtualization, SDN & NFV concepts and related technologies.
- Knowledgeable on E2E Mobile Solutions, Mobile & Packet Core concepts and related technologies.
- Knowledgeable on scripting and mastering programming languages and techniques.
- Knowledgeable on Network Management Systems, networking concepts and related technologies.
- Nokia SRA/Virtuoso, Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE or equivalent Certification are a plus.
- Experience in selling and delivering Datacenter/Carrier Network and Solutions
- Excellent in designing networking equipment for Carrier, SDN and NFV Solutions and Concept. Strong Linux/Unix shell and datacenter networking knowledge
- Native level in Japanese – written and verbal communication, Fluent in English – written and verbal communication
