Salesforce Technical Architect

Simplus, an Infosys Company are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions. This role is responsible for conducting technical design workshops, translating business requirements into scalable technical architecture, and delivering high-quality Salesforce implementations. You will oversee custom development, integrations, and data migrations, ensuring solutions align with Salesforce best practices and coding standards. Working closely with clients and stakeholders in a hybrid environment, you will provide technical leadership, guide development teams through code reviews, and make informed design decisions that balance business needs, scalability, and long-term platform success.

Locations: Juno Beach, FL or Houston, TX

Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for technical design sessions; develop technical solution documentation aligned with the business objectives
• Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices. Typical Salesforce implementations include custom platform development (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components), integrations with back-office systems (often through the use of middleware tools) and complex data migrations
• Working with our clients and all stakeholders to build clear requirements and a development strategy for each engagement at their office in Alpharetta in a hybrid model
• Develop, test, and document custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation
• Follow coding standards and lead in code reviews during projects to ensure appropriate design patterns are followed
• Apply best practices and technical/business experience to Salesforce solutions, including design trade-offs and communication of design decisions

Required skills:

• 8+ years of Salesforce development experience
• 3+ years in a technical leadership position
• Strong background in design and development of enterprise systems
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Experience with Apex, SOQL, XML, JavaScript preferred; experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, Web Services is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce development best practices
• Experience with both Classic and Lightning
• A history of working in Professional Services/Consulting
