About The Role
As a SAP EWM Consultant, you will join our multicultural SAP Consulting team and play a key role in delivering large-scale business transformation initiatives for international clients. You will advise organizations on the design, optimization, and implementation of SAP Warehouse Management solutions, helping them streamline operations and achieve their strategic objectives.
We are looking for an experienced consultant with strong analytical skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical SAP solutions. You are proactive, accountable, and passionate about driving successful project outcomes while collaborating with diverse global teams.
Job Description
- Support global transformation programs through the design, optimization, and implementation of SAP solutions, including SAP S/4HANA and related SAP products, with a focus on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
- Analyze business, functional, and integration requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
- Participate in pre-sales activities by providing technical and functional expertise to prospective and existing clients.
- Configure and customize SAP EWM solutions in accordance with business requirements and best practices.
- Prepare functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
- Design and support integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications in collaboration with technical teams.
- Execute and support system integration testing, user acceptance testing and defect resolution activities.
- Facilitate end-user training sessions and knowledge transfer activities.
- Contribute to Greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation projects from design through deployment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all project phases.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, system standards and project deliverables in alignment with KPMG quality standards and methodologies.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the continuous development of the SAP practice.
- University degree in Business Informatics, Information Technology, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 3- 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM.
- Proven experience delivering SAP WM/EWM implementation, rollout, or transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of warehouse management and logistics business processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations would be considered a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of integration concepts across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Project delivery experience and familiarity with project management methodologies.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in international and multicultural environments.
- Professional proficiency in English; German language skills would be considered an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
