Job Description

Public Cloud Architecture Design & Implementation

• Design and deliver end-to-end public cloud architectures leveraging Alibaba Cloud's core services (ECS, OSS, VPC, RDS, SLB, ACK, PAI, etc.) across compute, storage, networking, database, security, and AI/ML domains.

• Build hands-on proof-of-concept (PoC) environments to validate solution feasibility, performance, and cost-effectiveness against customer requirements.

• Develop reference architectures and deployment blueprints for common enterprise workloads including web/application hosting, data analytics, AI/ML training and inference, and hybrid cloud setups.

Market Insights & Competitive Analysis

• Gather competitive intelligence on other cloud providers operating in the Korean market; develop differentiated positioning strategies based on Alibaba Cloud's unique strengths.

Opportunity Identification & Pre-sales Engagement

• Lead technical pre-sales discussions with customer engineers, architects, and IT decision-makers; communicate in the customer's business context to build trust and uncover genuine technical needs.

• Analyze the customer's current infrastructure, application landscape, and technology roadmap to build accurate business-technology profiles and identify cloud adoption opportunities.

Solution Design & Proposal Delivery

• Develop tailored cloud solutions based on customer requirements; drive product selection, PoC test strategies, technical proposals, and configuration throughout the sales cycle to secure contract wins.

• Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks during solution implementation; collaborate with product and delivery teams to ensure successful execution.

Technical Enablement & Knowledge Building

• Deliver technical evangelism and enablement sessions for internal sales teams and ecosystem partners on Alibaba Cloud public cloud services and solution patterns.

Job Requirements

Position Requirement

• 7+ years of relevant work experience

• Deep hands-on experience with public cloud platforms

• Solid understanding of core cloud service categories: compute (VMs, containers, serverless), storage (object, block, file), networking (VPC, CDN, load balancing, DNS), database (RDBMS, NoSQL, caching), and security (IAM, encryption, WAF).

• Proven track record participating in or leading mid-to-large-scale IT projects: cloud migration, data center modernization, application containerization, or digital transformation initiatives.

• Experience designing solutions across diverse industries with familiarity in common scenarios such as microservices architecture, big data platforms, and AI/ML workload deployment.

• Strong customer-facing skills: ability to engage technical and business stakeholders, identify pain points, and deliver compelling solution presentations.

• Fluent in Korean and English (written and spoken).

• Experience with Alibaba Cloud services and the Korean cloud market landscape.

• Hands-on experience architecting AI/ML infrastructure (GPU clusters, model training pipelines, inference serving) on public cloud.
