Job Description

As a SharePoint Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft 365 solutions that enable organisations to improve collaboration, information management, and business process automation. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, deliver SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Viva, and Power Platform solutions, and lead migration initiatives from legacy platforms to Microsoft 365. The role requires a strong blend of consulting, solution design, technical delivery, and stakeholder engagement skills to drive successful business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into scalable Microsoft 365 solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement solutions across SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Viva, and the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Lead the development, configuration, testing, and deployment of applications and workflows within the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Plan and execute SharePoint migration projects, including the migration of content and data from legacy repositories and on-premises SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online.
• Configure and administer Power Platform environments, including Dataverse, data connectors, security models, governance controls, and user roles.
• Design and implement enterprise information architecture, taxonomy, metadata, content management, and governance frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance to ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Work closely with project teams and clients to deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with business objectives.

Job Description - Grade Specific

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years' experience in SharePoint development, solution design, and consulting.
• Proven experience delivering Microsoft 365 solutions, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Viva, and the Power Platform.
• Strong expertise in SharePoint migration projects, particularly migrations from on-premises SharePoint environments to SharePoint Online.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing business process automation solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and related Power Platform technologies.
• Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing enterprise information architecture, governance, and records management frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to business audiences.
• Experience working in client-facing consulting environments and managing multiple priorities across projects.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
