About The Opportunity
The Technical Product Manager, E-commerce is an experienced product and experience practitioner who independently leads complex, ambiguous initiatives spanning functions, platforms, vendors, channels, or operating processes. The role provides trusted judgment, shapes integrated solutions, facilitates difficult tradeoffs, and moves the organization from problem discovery through measurable improvement. Responsibilities include:
- Independently diagnose ambiguous, consequential customer and business problems spanning multiple functions, systems, vendors, or channels.
- Shaping integrated future states across customer experience, process, policy, roles, workflows, communications, data, systems, vendors, and controls.
- Recommending build, buy, configure, integrate, automate, partner, or process approaches based on impact, feasibility, risk, cost, and speed. Define outcomes, hypotheses, functional requirements, decision principles, and acceptance criteria.
- Personally leading complex initiatives end to end from discovery through solution selection, implementation, launch, adoption, stabilization, measurement, and learning.
- Working directly with SaaS providers, implementation partners, Technology, Engineering, Architecture, Data, Security, and platform owners.
- Creating alignment among senior business, technical, vendor, and operational partners without relying on formal authority.
- Serving as a high-value practitioner across any lane based on business priority and expertise. Share learning, improve reusable methods and standards, advance practical AI-enabled ways of working, and help the practice solve the right problems faster.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- 6-8+ years of progressively responsible experience leading complex customer, digital, product, operational, technology-enabled, or enterprise improvement work
- Demonstrated ownership of ambiguous, cross-functional, multi-system initiatives from problem definition through measurable results
- Significant hands-on experience diagnosing problems across people, process, policy, data, systems, vendors, and organizational boundaries
- Experience designing integrated future states and recommending build, buy, configure, integrate, automate, partner, or process approaches
- Experience influencing technical and business tradeoffs while respecting architecture, engineering, commercial, and functional authority
- Experience coaching less-experienced practitioners without formal people-management authority
- Experience operating in matrixed teams where expertise moves across priorities
