SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect / Functional Integration Manager

Job Description

Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• SAP S/4HANA solution architecture and end-to-end functional design across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sales & Distribution
• Minimum three full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations or rollouts in an architect or lead role
• Cross-functional integration design, validation, and troubleshooting between SAP modules and non-SAP or third-party systems using interfaces, IDocs, APIs, and middleware
• Identification, triage, and coordinated resolution of master data, transactional data, migration, data quality, and reconciliation issues
• SAP Activate methodology, Fit-to-Standard workshops, BPML, gap analysis, and functional design documentation
• SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect triage, cutover, go-live readiness, and hypercare support
• Working knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Solution Manager, or equivalent ALM tools
• Proven ability to mentor junior functional consultants and communicate effectively with business and executive stakeholders

Roles & Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end SAP S/4HANA functional solution architecture, ensuring integrated, scalable designs aligned with standard SAP capabilities
• Serve as the primary escalation point for functional and technical SAP S/4HANA issues and provide clear options and recommendations to program leadership
• Drive cross-functional integration across SAP modules and third-party systems, identify gaps early, and resolve design conflicts between workstreams
• Identify, log, and coordinate resolution of master data, migration, data quality, and reconciliation issues with functional, technical, and business data owners
• Review and approve functional specifications, configuration decisions, RICEFW designs, and test scripts for alignment with the overall solution
• Lead design authority and solution review forums; manage risks, decisions, and dependencies across functional and technical workstreams
• Guide and mentor junior functional consultants, review deliverables, and build team capability
• Support Fit-to-Standard workshops, gap analysis, and disposition of gaps to standard, configuration, or enhancement
• Drive SIT and UAT defect triage, coordinate root-cause assignment, and ensure timely resolution across teams
• Prepare solution walkthroughs, status updates, issue summaries, cutover plans, go-live readiness assessments, and hypercare support

Salary Range: $160,000 - $200,000 per year
