Senior ServiceNow Developer / Technical Lead

Location: Marysville/Dublin, OH — Onsite 4+ days/week

Overview:

Seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer / Technical Lead to support a long-term managed

services engagement with Honda through Deloitte. This person will serve as the primary onsite

ServiceNow SME and act as the bridge between Honda’s U.S. stakeholders and a 6–7 person

offshore ServiceNow team in India. This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on

development, production support, requirements gathering, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary onsite ServiceNow technical lead and client contact

• Troubleshoot production issues, incidents, outages, and defects

• Develop and support ServiceNow enhancements and customizations

• Gather requirements and translate them into clear development work

• Coordinate daily work and handoffs with the offshore India team

• Review code and completed development work

• Support ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, CSDM, and ITOM

• Develop and troubleshoot ServiceNow integrations

• Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices

• Identify platform improvements and opportunities for expansion

Requirements:

• 5+ years of ServiceNow experience preferred

• Strong ITSM experience, especially Incident, Problem, Change, and Knowledge

• Strong hands-on ServiceNow development and scripting experience

• Experience with Glide, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and Scoped

Applications

• Experience with CMDB, Discovery, CSDM and/or ITOM

• Experience with REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, webhooks, and/or MID Servers

• Strong production support and troubleshooting experience

• Comfortable gathering requirements and working directly with stakeholders

• Experience coordinating with offshore development teams

• Able to work onsite 4+ days/week in the Marysville/Dublin, OH area

Nice to Have:

• ServiceNow CSA and/or CAD

• Performance Analytics, Service Portal, and Flow Designer

• Now Assist / ServiceNow GenAI experience• SAFe experience

• Additional ITOM/CMDB certifications

Exceptional candidates with 3+ years of ServiceNow experience may be considered if they have

strong technical depth, can work independently, and are comfortable in a client-facing/lead

capacity.
