ROLES & RESPONSIBILTIES

Drive innovation through the ongoing evaluation, design and implementation of new technology
Manage AWS infrastructure and services including but not limited to other trends and platforms
Configure, build, release, enforce CI/CD pipelines and assure best practices applied & followed
Develop & guide team members with front-end development in HTML, CSS, JS, ReactJS & NextJS
Set coding standards and lead code review sessions with Engineers
Work closely and mentor team members on projects using Next.js, ReactJS and other languages
Champion Agile/Scrum best-practices, processes, and tools in support of DevOps processes
Lead and manage RESTful API and GraphQL API, and provide supports internal/external teams
Create new architectures for better scaling and performance of back-end services
Lead in creating and managing databases like MongoDB and/or MySQL, etc.
Create and lead development of automated tests using Jest and Cypress, or similar tools
Explore, recommend and lead implementation of new technologies, opportunities and ideas
Support, lead and work closely with onsite & remote teams in very dynamic Scrum environment
Mentor, motivate and grow engineering teams with dedicated mentorship and training programs
Follow audit and cyber security guidelines and partnering for certifications/reporting
Oversee & lead Engineers to design, develop, and deploy products within timeline and budget
Provide off-hours, extended, and weekend support as needed for queue and project progress, and emergencies
Work closely with Management and Business to properly understand and deliver projects
Manage/coordinate other Developers/team members and own Sprint deliverables

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree and/or 3-4 years of job-related experience
Have in-depth knowledge and practical experience with AWS Services & Security practices
Hands-on development experience with a broad range of languages, frameworks & technologies
Knowledge of all SDLC phases, from concept/prototype to finished product.
In depth knowledge of high availability (HA) design and implementation across AWS services
Solid understanding of SDLC models as well as expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum principles
Hands on experience with RESTful,GraphQL API development and SQL and NoSQL DBs
Strong technical documentation skills - workflows, ERD and support/job-aid documentation
Rigor in high code quality, automated testing/scripts, and other engineering best practices
Delight in building great products with purpose that are a joy to use and benefits end-users
