What You’ll Do
Role purpose: architect and provide e2e OSS solution designs for complex, cross-domain, and cross-market projects in close alignment with business needs. Consults and advises the Solution and Initiative Managers in creating consistent solutions according to the architectural principles and guidelines. Ensures proper e2e architectural documentation of the domain’s application landscape.
Requirement Elicitation and Analysis:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges
- Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements, processes, and workflows
- Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams
- Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs
- Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges
- Ensure that proposed solutions align with Vodafone’s strategic goals and technological capabilities
- Create and continuously develop the E2E OSS evolution roadmap, driving modernisation, consolidation, and harmonisation
- Consults and advises OSS management in creating the strategic domain roadmap as well as the mid-/long term Network Evolution Plan
- Trial new technologies and products before implementing in the market
- Excellent knowledge of telecommunication technologies, processes, network architectures and industry standards
- Analytical skills to determine the effort, time, and cost involved in delivering the solution, based on the scope, the requirements, the assumptions, and the constraints
- Strong business acumen and organizational abilities to balance strategies against what is functionally, technologically, and financially feasible
- Profound multi-cultural / multinational experience
- Excellent knowledge of architectural methods and standards (e.g. Togaf, Cobit, incl. SID, eTOM)
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation
