Description
SAIC is currently seeking Field Service Experts (FSE) to support SAIC’s Terminal High Altitude Air Defense (THAAD) Team.
Primary duty location is onsite at the Fort Sill, Lawton Oklahoma
Job Description
This team is responsible for delivering high-level technical support, system integration, and organizational maintenance for the THAAD Program. The position involves collaborating with military and civilian personnel to ensure seamless deployment, operation, and maintenance of the THAAD system.
- Provide technical support services in support of maintaining and sustaining fielded THAAD systems, equipment and software at Fort Sill, OK
- Represent the THAAD program as the primary point of contact
- Integrate and maintain THAAD systems including Launchers, TOS, TSG, TOS, LCS, BLOC and DRASH support equipment.
- Assist in the emplacement and initialization of THAAD systems
- Advise customers on the capabilities and limitations of the THAAD systems
- Assist in troubleshooting THAAD hardware, software, and networks
- Conduct organizational level maintenance on THAAD equipment and associated wheeled support vehicles
- Provide feedback to program leadership regarding system performance and end-user feedback
- Perform operator and maintainer tasks on equipment, integrated systems, subsystems, and software
- Conduct training
- Provide reports on system capability and operational status as needed
- Conduct scheduled equipment inventories
- Mid-Level BS and five (5) years’ experience; six (6) years' experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Senior level BS and nine (9) years’ experience; six (6) years' experience accepted in lieu of degree
- Experience with tactical networks and troubleshooting
- In field operator training
- Troubleshooting of computer systems and networks
- Good oral communication
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments
- Able to work independently and efficiently with short-term deadlines
- Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance; US Citizenship required.

- Experience maintaining and sustaining fielded THAAD systems, equipment and software
- Willingness to acquire CDL
