Responsibilities:
- This is a hands-on role. You will implement a wide variety of IT solutions with assistance from the rest of our experienced professionals
- Guiding IT in concert with business leaders and implementing IT projects in any of our customers’ environments such as:
- Deploying and monitoring advanced networking solutions including SD-WAN, Firewalls and remote access solutions across a global footprint
- Testing and deployment of collaboration solutions including cloud based virtual desktops, global file shares and proxies/zero-trust techniques to facilitate easier access for remote work
- Maintenance of existing Private and Public Cloud services including Virtual Desktops with full GPU support, Azure AD, Teams, etc.
- Maintenance of existing Windows Infrastructure – Active Directory, Group Policy, Intune, SQL, etc.
- Vendor management – budgeting, acquisitions, vendor comparisons, running a proof of concept in real network, ability to supervise an office move
- Present information in a clear manner to internal, client and public audiences
- 5 years’ experience in a related environment (multi-site, multi-country network with thousands of devices)
- Advanced level knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
- Strong background with enterprise cloud computing
- Experience with Office 365 migration
- Azure AD Identity Management experience, including context aware MFA and password self-service
- Networking skills – knowledge of routing protocols, routing, switching and wireless design and configuration including firewalls, SD-WAN and troubleshooting
- Security – Endpoint Detection and Response, Alert Management, awareness of Threat Actors and TTPs
- Virtualization – Servers, Virtual Desktops with Graphics, Network Devices, DR and runbooks
- Endpoint Management – at scale and with client systems scattered around the world
- Deep OS architecture
- A desire for continuous learning
- Project management experience, including documentation and organizational rollout
- Scripting experience – PowerShell, python or other
- Strong communication skills
- Customer service commitment, Business Partner
- Prior experience in an IT consulting position is helpful but not required
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- Relevant certifications – GIAC, Microsoft, Cisco, others
- Report writing skills
- Training in intrusion detection, incident response with targeted forensics, threat intelligence, managing security awareness and vulnerability management programs
- Implementing Zero Trust Networking – App proxies, Identity Management, Device Compliance, Role Based Network ACLs
- Auditing of existing networks for external customers
- Experience in the Architectural/Engineering/Construction sector
- Experience with PKI – certificate creation, signing
