Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary NetSuite Administrator, managing user setup, roles, permissions, and access controls in accordance with security and SOX/segregation-of-duties requirements.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable NetSuite solutions.
- Configure and maintain custom fields, forms, records, lists, workflows, saved searches, and reports to support evolving business needs.
- Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and reporting for stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and leadership.
- Evaluate and test new NetSuite features during release previews and coordinate the rollout of enhancements with minimal business disruption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, system errors, and data integrity problems, escalating to NetSuite Support or external partners as needed.
- Support month-end and year-end close by ensuring NetSuite, reporting, and related integrations are functioning properly.
- Manage and monitor integrations between NetSuite and third-party applications, including CRM, payroll, expense management, e-commerce, EDI, and tax systems.
- Maintain data quality through imports, mass updates, deduplication, and ongoing data governance.
- Document system configurations, processes, procedures, and system changes.
- Train and support end users and develop job aids and documentation to encourage adoption and self-service.
- Partner with developers and consultants on SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, and SuiteAnalytics customizations and manage sandbox-to-production change control.
- 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience.
- Strong knowledge of NetSuite functionality, including Financials, Order Management, Inventory, and related modules.
- Proficiency with saved searches, custom reports, workflows (SuiteFlow), custom records, and custom fields.
- Solid understanding of core accounting and business processes, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report.
- Experience managing user roles, permissions, access controls, and system security.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- NetSuite certification, such as SuiteFoundation, Administrator, or ERP Consultant.
- Experience with SuiteScript, SuiteAnalytics, SuiteTalk, REST APIs, or other NetSuite integration technologies.
- Experience with integration platforms or middleware such as Celigo, Boomi, or MuleSoft.
- Familiarity with SOX, segregation-of-duties controls, and audit requirements.
- Experience supporting a NetSuite implementation, major upgrade, or significant system enhancement.
- Experience supporting NetSuite within a retail, distribution, or other high-volume transactional environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
