About the Role
This role is dedicated to managing local energy storage projects in Ukraine, serving as the primary point of contact for on-site delivery and customer engagement. You will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, from technical design and system integration to stakeholder coordination and commercial support. This position requires fluency in both Ukrainian and English, as you will work directly with local clients, contractors, and authorities. The role is based in Ukraine with project-site presence, offering the opportunity to drive meaningful energy transition initiatives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
1.Be responsible for the schematic design, technical selection, and system integration of energy storage projects, ensuring technical feasibility and economic viability.
2.Liaise with and interpret customer requirements, providing technical solutions that align with project goals and local regulatory frameworks.
3.Conduct internal and external technical training, including but not limited to application system demonstrations, and technical presentations and exchanges on industry solutions.
4.Support the marketing and commercial teams in project bidding, proposal submission, bid presentations, and Q&A sessions to secure new business opportunities.
Qualifications
1.Bachelor's degree or above in New Energy, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field from an accredited institution.
2.Proven experience in energy storage (ESS/BESS) or renewable energy project engineering, with hands-on exposure to system design, equipment selection, and integration.
3.Fluency in Ukrainian and English (both written and spoken) is mandatory, with the ability to conduct technical discussions and document reviews in both languages.
4.Familiarity with local Ukrainian grid codes, permitting processes, and construction practices is a strong plus.
5.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, in a project environment.
6.Willingness to be based on project sites across Ukraine and travel as required for project execution.
7.Valid local driver's license is preferred.
