The company operates a round-the-clock control function that sits between its own generation assets, the on-site operators who run them, and the Independent System Operator that governs the market. It is building out a remote dispatch crew to cover the overnight Alberta window, with company-provided equipment and secure VPN access to all operating systems. ## About the Role Mornings run on a hard deadline: between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM Alberta time you build and submit the daily operational plan, determine what each asset will do today and tomorrow, and get that plan accepted by the system operator before the market window closes. After 10:00 AM the work shifts to monitoring web-based portals, holding compliance against the accepted plan, and responding to system operator notifications within a two-minute window while coordinating on-site operators and internal teams.
