Salesforce Technical Architect

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the design, architecture, and delivery of enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud, along with strong expertise in Salesforce platform development, integrations, solution architecture, and technical leadership.
The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and client leadership to translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions. This role requires a blend of architecture, hands-on technical expertise, consulting, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
Lead discovery and technical design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce architecture.
Create solution design documents, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
Drive architectural decisions while balancing scalability, performance, maintainability, and business needs.
Salesforce Platform Leadership
Design and implement solutions on:
- Sales Cloud
- Service Cloud
- Experience Cloud
- Recommend Salesforce best practices and platform capabilities.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards.
- Development & Technical Oversight
Lead custom development efforts using:
- Apex
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Visualforce
- SOQL
- JavaScript
- Conduct code reviews and establish development standards.
- Guide developers on design patterns, security, performance optimization, and governor limits.
- Integration Architecture
- Design and oversee Salesforce integrations with external enterprise systems.
- Implement REST and SOAP-based integrations.
- Collaborate with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Informatica.
- Ensure secure and reliable data exchange across systems.
- Data Migration & Deployment
- Define and execute data migration strategies.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, and validation activities.
- Support deployment planning and release management activities.
- Ensure data quality and successful platform adoption.
- Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as a trusted advisor to business and technical stakeholders.
- Present architectural recommendations to leadership teams.
- Collaborate with offshore and onshore teams throughout project delivery.
- Communicate design trade-offs and implementation risks effectively.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 8+ years of Salesforce development experience.
- 3+ years of architecture or technical leadership experience.
- Strong background in enterprise application architecture.
- Experience working in consulting or professional services environments.
- Experience leading distributed development teams.

- 10+ years of Salesforce experience.
- Proven experience designing enterprise Salesforce solutions.
- Strong Experience Cloud implementation expertise.
- Deep knowledge of Apex, LWC, integrations, and data migration.
- Experience leading multiple Salesforce developers and technical teams.
- Strong client-facing consulting and presentation skills.
- Ability to work closely with business stakeholders and executive leadership.
