About This Role
We are seeking a visionary Logistics Business System Manager to architect, configure, and drive the future of our supply chain and manufacturing operations. In this role, you won’t just be managing systems; you will be the bridge between complex business needs and powerful technical solutions. You will oversee full-lifecycle implementations, optimize our warehouse management processes, and collaborate directly with floor operations to ensure seamless, real-time success. This is a hybrid role based out of our West Palm Beach or Atlanta offices (3 days in office 2 days at home).
Job Description
- Architect End-to-End Solutions: Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of complete SAP Logistics Execution (LE) and Materials Management (MM) functionalities, ensuring a seamless flow from MRP and procurement to delivery and shipment costing.
- Drive Full-Lifecycle Projects: Leverage your proven track record of guiding at least three full-lifecycle implementations from initial blueprint to post-go-live stability, while providing reliable ongoing production support.
- Bridge Cross-Functional Modules: Utilize your deep understanding of integration touchpoints across SAP SD, MM, LE, and PP to create unified, highly efficient business solutions.
- Translate Business into Technology: Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage master data, customize configurations, and lead testing and training initiatives that empower our team.
- Tailor Manufacturing Models: Align SAP processes perfectly with complex manufacturing environments, seamlessly adapting to Make-to-Stock (MTS), Make-to-Order (MTO), and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) business models.
- Optimize Outbound & Inbound Workflows: Provide expert, hands-on functional support for SAP WM processes, maximizing efficiency across wave management, transportation units, pick/pack/ship, receiving, quality inspection, and putaway strategies.
- Streamline Production Flow: Support smooth staging processes to and from Production Supply Areas (PSAs), while maintaining tight control over Batch Management and inventory accuracy.
- Deliver Real-World Support: Roll up your sleeves during critical Go-Live and HyperCare phases, working directly on the floor with warehouse personnel and supervisors to troubleshoot and resolve issues in real time.
- Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in SAP LE/WM module
- Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience in SAP LE/WM module
- Master’s Degree Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience working as SAP SD Consultant
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
Other Compensation
This position is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
