About the Role
Steadfast Technology is seeking a seasoned Director of IT Services to provide executive-level technical leadership and operational oversight for enterprise IT Infrastructure Management (ITIM) and Delivery Services for a client. Reporting directly to executive leadership (CIO/CTO), you will drive major technology modernization initiatives, manage cloud migrations, direct service desk operations, and oversee strategic vendor relationships across a complex enterprise healthcare environment.

Schedule
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (40 hrs/week)
Enterprise Cloud & Infrastructure Operations
- Provide strategic leadership for enterprise AWS cloud environments, including infrastructure provisioning, IAM, platform services, and monitoring.
- Oversee cloud migration activities, cloud-native adoption, and legacy virtualization deprecation (VMware to AWS).
- Ensure overall system availability, business continuity, disaster recovery, and capacity management.
Network, Voice & Telecommunications
- Direct enterprise LAN/WAN, wireless (Cisco Meraki), remote access, and unified communications operations.
- Oversee F5 BIG-IP load balancing, DNS provisioning, and network modernization efforts.
IT Service Desk & End-User Support
- Lead the end-user support team and establish core operational KPIs (first-contact resolution, response times, backlog management).
- Oversee major incident management, escalation pathways, and post-incident reviews with a required 30-minute critical response SLA.
Vendor & Contract Management
- Manage relationships, performance, and SOWs with third-party vendors, managed service providers, and cloud partners.
- Lead procurement evaluations, SOW development, contract negotiations, and service escalations.
Security, Compliance & Governance
- Partner with security teams to enforce compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and state security mandates.
- Implement IT Service Management (ITSM) operational governance across incident, problem, change, and configuration management.
- Build executive dashboards, SOPs, and service catalogs to communicate service health and risk trends.
Operational Details & Requirements
- Onsite Mandate Must be 100% onsite in Jackson, MS (No remote work options).
- On-Call Availability Required for major incidents, planned maintenance, and critical system events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 10+ years of enterprise IT leadership experience overseeing cloud platforms, infrastructure, and team management.

Cloud & Virtualization
- Amazon AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC), VMware vSphere, Cohesity.
Identity & Network
- Active Directory / Entra ID, Auth0, F5 BIG-IP, Cisco Meraki.
Observability & Tools
- Dynatrace, Cloudflare, Smartsheet, SharePoint, ITS Service Center ticketing systems.
Integrations & Healthcare
- Familiarity with FHIR APIs, MarkLogic, and Cloverleaf integration engines.
