As a Systems Engineer, you will provide engineering, consulting, and technical leadership across networking, collaboration, and security solutions within our Enterprise portfolio. You will partner with customers to design, implement, and support technology environments that are secure, scalable, and aligned to their business objectives. This role requires strong technical expertise, customer engagement skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced consulting environment. Continuous learning and professional development are essential to success in this role.
Responsibilities
What You Will Do
In all of your duties, you will have a relentless, obsessive, yet disciplined approach to manage all details to perfection and deliver desired results.
- Design, install, configure, maintain, and upgrade networking, collaboration, and security solutions within your areas of expertise.
- Serve as the primary support and maintenance resource for assigned customers.
- Interact with sales staff to support client pre-sales activities, including solution demonstrations and whiteboard sessions.
- Create customer-facing presentations and assist in preparing proposals and statements of work (SOWs).
- Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) for hardware and software quotes.
- Manage project scope, change orders, and customer expectations throughout implementation.
- Build strong customer relationships and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Manage daily work schedules and multiple concurrent projects.
- Participate in ongoing technical training within assigned areas of expertise.
- Accurately document work performed and enter time daily into time management systems.

In Addition To That, We Require
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in a technical consulting role.
- Strong prospecting and networking skills.
- Ability to accurately forecast and maintain required levels of pipeline activity.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic and creative approach to issue management.
- Excellent technical documentation skills.
- Experience using project management tools and methodologies.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Superior customer service skills with the ability to interact at all organizational levels.
- Cisco and/or Meraki certifications.
- Meraki, VMware, Microsoft, Citrix, Palo Alto, or related certifications.
- Experience with campus and data center networking technologies.
- Experience designing and deploying enterprise wireless networks.
- Experience with Ansible, Python, Git, and Linux environments.
- A+, Network+, MCP, MCITP, MCSA, or similar certifications.
- Proven success in information technology implementation, support, and account management.
