SAP Architect - Logistics

Your Responsibilities:
- Oversee and evolve the global SAP architecture for all logistics processes, including but not limited to warehouse inbound/outbound management, inventory management, transportation management, logistics service provider integrations, and returns/reverse logistics management.
- Partner with business stakeholders, implementation partners, and AMS providers to design, build, and deploy robust SAP solutions that enable key business outcomes and ensure optimal system functionality.
- Provide guidance and support for ongoing operations by training key-users on system functionality, assisting in usability testing, and driving post-go-live production support, system configuration, and enhancements.
- Ensure all new solutions adhere to the Global SAP design and architecture by participating in architecture review boards and maintaining diligent documentation.
- Maintain a proficient awareness of regional warehousing and transportation compliance requirements and travel to global sites as needed to ensure successful implementations and system adoption.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience designing and configuring global logistic processes within SAP.
- Core Expertise: Proven, in-depth expertise in SAP Transportation Management (BN4L/LBN), Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, and Global Trade Services (GTS).
- Integration Knowledge: Proficient, practical knowledge of integration aspects with other SAP modules such as Manufacturing (MFG), Quality Management (QM), and Materials Management (MM), as well as integration with 3PL warehouse systems and S/4HANA.
- Solution Design & Delivery: Significant experience in creating detailed requirement specifications based on complex business processes, and a successful track record in solution evaluation, configuration, validation, and deployment.
- Communication & Project Management: Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into simple terms and capably handle multiple projects and balancing priorities.
- A proficient understanding of business processes within the Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks, including SOX and GxP.
- Functional knowledge of SAP Materials Management (MM) and Global Batch Traceability (GBT).
