Software Engineer (Insurance) at BairesDev

As a Software Engineer (Insurance), you will drive the development and evolution of critical insurance systems, focusing on policy administration and claims processing. You will take a lead role in transforming legacy architectures into modern, scalable backend solutions that power complex insurance workflows.

What You'll Do

• Architect and modernize core insurance systems including policy administration, claims, and underwriting platforms.
• Design robust backend solutions to support the full insurance policy lifecycle and complex domain workflows.
• Facilitate the transition from legacy software to modern, high-performance enterprise architectures.
• Integrate diverse insurance domain technologies and policy management systems into unified backend stacks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure insurance products meet rigorous industry standards and performance goals.

What We Are Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with a focus on insurance or fintech systems.
• Proven expertise in modernizing legacy policy administration, claims, and underwriting systems.
• Extensive experience with backend stacks and integrating enterprise-grade insurance software.
• Deep understanding of insurance domain workflows and policy lifecycle management.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
