Key job responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive business process analysis and requirements gathering workshops with sales, customer service, distribution, and logistics stakeholders.
- Design and architect robust, scalable, and efficient SAP SD and Logistics solutions, developing detailed blueprints and strategic roadmaps from design through delivery.
- Configure and customize core SAP SD modules, including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing (Invoicing), Intercompany, Consignment, Reverse Logistics, Shipping, Credit Management, and Master Data.
- Configure and integrate key logistics components, including Delivery Processing, Transportation Management (TM) within S/4HANA, and basic Warehouse Management (WM) concepts.
- Design and configure cross-company sales, inter-company billing inter-company stock transfers to ensure proper financial postings and streamlined operations.
- Architect solutions for consignment stock processing, including consignment fill-up, issues, returns, and billing, optimizing inventory visibility and management.
- Integrate, configure functionalities related to export controls, sanctions, licenses, and legal regulations, potentially leveraging a Global Trade compliance system.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD/Logistics and other core SAP modules such as MM, PP (Production Planning), FI/CO, and QM.
- Oversee RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows) developments, collaborating closely with technical teams to translate functional specifications into effective technical solutions.
- Develop comprehensive data migration strategies for master and transactional data.
- Lead and support all project testing phases, including unit testing, integration testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate system functionality and data integrity.
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, configuration guides, and end-user training materials.
- Plan and deliver effective end-user training sessions and provide critical post-go-live support to ensure smooth system adoption and rapid issue resolution.
- Ensure designed solutions optimize sales efficiency, enhance customer service, and comply with industry best practices and internal controls.
- Develop and execute training plans to train end-users on the configured SAP SD processes and functionalities.
- Bachelor's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in implementing and configuring the SAP SD module, with a strong emphasis on returns management and reverse logistics processes.
- Thorough understanding of sales, distribution, BOM (Bill of Materials) and returns management processes, including order management, pricing, delivery, and credit/debit memo processing.
- Strong functional knowledge of SAP SD and its integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, FI, LE).
- Experience in integrating with Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), Demand Forecasting, Procure to Pay and Sales and operations planning processes.
- Must have worked with Financial Supply Chain: A/R, Credit management FI Reconciliation & Audit, Planning & Budgeting, Tax integrations.
- Experience in implementing SAP S/4 HANA OTC module with Advanced Returns Management, Advanced Inter-company processes.
- Worked in the server components or high-tech manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and third-party logistics integration.
- Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
- Experience in planning, development, implementation, and end-to-end life cycle of at least 4-5 complex large-scale enterprise transformations.
- At least five (5) years of S/4 HANA experience.
