- The SAP Architect is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of enterprise
- SAP solutions that support Molex global business capabilities. This role develops and communicates SAP architecture strategies across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BTP, integration technologies, and adjacent ERP platforms. You will partner closely with business leaders, enterprise architecture, product teams, developers, analysts, AMS partners, and external providers to create scalable, user-centric solutions aligned to global business objectives. The ideal candidate is technically strong, business-process oriented, and able to translate strategy into practical architecture standards, roadmaps, and delivery outcomes.

We are a global team with end-to-end responsibility for Molex ERP systems focused on leveraging digital and technological solutions to drive innovation and efficiency across Molex supply chain, operations, finance, manufacturing, commercial, and other core capabilities. We lead ERP initiatives with a focus on solution architecture, delivery, execution, modernization, and operational excellence across our core ERP landscape.
What You Will Do
- Serve as an SAP architect for the Molex Global ERP organization, providing direction across SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BTP, integration, data, and related ERP capabilities.
- Assess and translate business requirements into SAP solutions, architecture designs, integration patterns, and implementation approaches.
- Lead cross-functional solution design across supply chain, manufacturing, logistics, finance, master data, reporting, and other core business process areas.
- Establish and enforce SAP standards, design principles, architectural guidelines, and governance practices across project and support activities.
- Partner with enterprise architecture, business process owners, SAP teams, AMS partners, and external providers to ensure solutions are sustainable, supportable, and aligned with the global ERP strategy.
- Guide the design and integration of SAP solutions with external systems, including middleware, EDI, analytics, master data, and business application platforms.
- Provide technical and functional leadership across project workstreams, including solution reviews, feasibility analysis, risk mitigation, and architecture decision-making.
- Evaluate enhancement requests and project designs to maximize SAP standard functionality before custom development, while ensuring business value and user experience are maintained.
- Document architecture decisions, user stories, technical constraints, dependencies, patterns, and requirements to support delivery teams and long-term maintainability. SAP Solution Architect Molex Global ERP Team
- Stay current with SAP product strategy, S/4HANA capabilities, BTP services, integration technologies, AI-enabled ERP opportunities, and industry trends relevant to a global manufacturing environment.
- Communicate architecture concepts and decisions clearly to senior leaders, technical teams,business partners, and external stakeholders.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 or more years of experience with SAP ERP, including architecture, solution design, implementation, support, upgrade, or transformation work in complex environments.
- Experience as an SAP Architect or senior SAP solution lead in a large-scale, multinational organization.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA, including business process design, configuration concepts, integrations, custom development considerations, and operational support models.
- Working knowledge of SAP BTP, integration patterns, middleware, EDI, APIs, analytics, master data,and identity/security considerations.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical SAP solution architecture, standards, and delivery plans.
- Experience working with cross-functional business teams, technical teams, enterprise architecture, vendors, consultants, and managed service providers.
- Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence through expertise and collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, make tradeoff decisions, and drive alignment across stakeholders in a global operating model.
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally to support role responsibilities, as needed.
What Will Put You Ahead
- SAP certifications in S/4HANA, BTP, integration, solution architecture, or relevant functional domains.
- Experience in highly regulated or complex manufacturing industries, such as automotive, electronics,chemical, industrial, or discrete manufacturing.
- Experience with SAP RISE, cloud ERP strategy, S/4HANA transformation, Central Finance, Clean Coregovernance, or large-scale ERP modernization programs.
- Experience establishing SAP architecture governance, design authorities, architecture review boards,or global template standards.
- A balanced blend of business process knowledge and technical SAP depth, with the ability to communicate effectively in both business and technical language.
- Proven ability to lead complex, global initiatives and deliver outcomes through matrixed teams,partners, and stakeholders.
