Job Description:
- Developing enterprise architecture and translating business objectives into a modern technology architecture, including defining the roadmap from the current state (As-Is) to the future state (To-Be).
- Designing application solutions and end-to-end architectures for new and existing systems, including Microservices, APIs, Event-Driven Architecture, internal and external enterprise integrations, and Cloud-Native solutions.
- Leading modernization processes for core enterprise systems, including legacy systems based on AS400, Mainframe, and Monolithic architectures. Developing migration strategies, identifying risks, planning implementation waves, and ensuring business continuity throughout the transformation.
- Developing technology solutions for business challenges, including evaluating and recommending appropriate tools and technologies.
- Establishing architectural standards and patterns to be applied across additional systems within the organization.
- Coordinating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Academic degree in Information Systems, Industrial Engineering and Management, or a related field – required.
- 10+ years of experience in software development and Enterprise systems architecture – required.
- Proven 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Senior Software Architect – required.
- Significant experience leading the modernization of legacy systems, including AS400, Mainframe, or other enterprise core systems – required.
- Proven experience designing and implementing Microservices and API-First architectures – required.
- Experience working with Cloud platforms, such as Azure or AWS – required.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift – required.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps – a significant advantage.
- Experience designing and implementing Event-Driven and messaging-based solutions using technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Experience working with databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, DB2, and NoSQL.
- In-depth knowledge of DDD (Domain-Driven Design), Cloud-Native Architecture, and Event-Driven Architecture.
- Experience leading complex projects and driving collaboration across business and technology stakeholders.
- Experience developing technology roadmaps and long-term transformation plans.
- Familiarity with the healthcare industry and experience working with healthcare systems – a significant advantage.
