About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and is located at the Chili's Grill and Bar, Yokota AB. This is Regular Part Time Position Guarantee 20-34 hours per week.
Duties
- Under the supervision of the General Manager, responsible for assisting the management team in executing franchise brand standards to ensure the quality assurance evaluation is conducted in accordance with AF and franchise standards. Duties include, but are not limited to: assist with restaurant operations and conditions to ensure quality of the product, guest services, and hospitality; examines the restaurant is conforming to all applicable AF and franchise standards, public health standards, and adherence to all food sanitation, public health and all related safety programs; assigns duties and responsibilities to staff based upon cleaning lists and shift/station responsibilities; assist with the scheduling and training of non-management staff, and conducts new hire orientations; generates work schedules for assigned staff; performs variety of miscellaneous administrative and clerical functions; inspects work stations, grounds, and other ares for quality and quantity of work performed by all staff (employees and contract staff); reviews the customer comments cards and analyzes data and informs management team of issues or areas needing attention; tracks and develops trends in current performance and conducts specific training to improve overall service and compliance with established standards; and assist in all areas of the dining room. Provides instruction and guidance to all staff members using F&B computer program tracking system ensuring that all system users are adequately knowledgeable to perform the tasks required to maintain accurate and accountable inventories. Analyzes such factors as usage rates, inventory levels, seasonal demands and price fluctuations and reports findings to activity managers. Establishes and periodically reviews minimum par stock levels of all expendable food and beverage goods and supplies assuring adequate inventory of items to prevent work stoppage. Periodically reviews par stock levels needed to ensure maximized efficiencies. Responsible for monitoring the training program in accordance with AF and franchise standards. Evaluates all processes and performance in the workplace and adjusts programs to address any performance shortcomings noted. In the absence of a Manager, the Key Team Member will monitor restaurant operations to ensure compliance with health and safety standards, guest satisfaction, and food quality. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience: Must have current or previous related working experience in a Brinker's Chili's Grill & Bar franchise brand restaurant which has demonstrated a proficiency in Chili's Grill & Bar franchise positions. Must maintain a score of 90% or higher on each assessment. Ability to read, write, and to clearly verbalize in English. Must be able to remain standing during the entire shift. Must have experience which provides knowledge of club, restaurant, and retail operation. Lifts and carries up to 70 lbs, up to 20 times per shift; places these items on high shelves and in walk-in cooler and/or freezer. This position is a position of trust. Employment is subject to satisfactorily completion of installation and a Tier 1 background investigation. Satisfactory completion of a pre-employment physical is required. May be required to work an uncommon tour of duty including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Education
