Key Responsibilities
Engineering and Programming:
- Execute projects based on customer specifications and needs.
- Involved in project estimating, design reviews, programming, installation and commissioning support.
- Specify control systems hardware and software per customer requirements.
- Solve problems independently and suggest solutions to internal and external customers.
- Demonstrate commitment to building technical skills through continuous education.
- Provide guidance and mentorship of others.
- Interface and communicate effectively with various stakeholders including engineers, project managers, electricians, vendors, customers, and company leadership.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through successful project execution and effective communication.
- Build and maintain relationships to foster repeat business and growth.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 10+ years in the automation field.
- Extensive experience in Process Control required, preferably with Rockwell PlantPAx Distributed Control Systems.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in control system design, machine safety, PLCs, SCADA/Operator Interfaces.
- Knowledge and experience in drive systems, robotics, and/or vision systems is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, technical aptitude, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Capable of working independently or within a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Positive attitude towards safety and personal integrity are essential.
- Ability to travel up 50-90% of the time.
