Senior Life Sciences Transformation & Digital Manufacturing Architect
YOUR ROLE
As a Senior Life Sciences Transformation & Digital Manufacturing Architect, you will help pharmaceutical and biotech organisations accelerate their digital transformation journey by connecting business strategy, manufacturing operations, quality, data and technology into actionable transformation programmes.
You will work at the intersection of business consulting, digital manufacturing and technology architecture, helping clients define future-state operating models, shape transformation roadmaps and deliver measurable business value across regulated environments.
In This Role, You Will
- Lead business and manufacturing transformation assessments for Life Sciences clients.
- Facilitate workshops with Manufacturing, Quality, IT and Digital stakeholders, from operational teams to executive leadership.
- Define future-state operating models supporting digital manufacturing, technology transfer and operational excellence initiatives.
- Translate business challenges into scalable transformation programmes and digital solutions.
- Contribute to Data, AI and Digital Thread strategies enabling better knowledge capture, decision-making and operational intelligence.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define solution architectures spanning manufacturing systems, data platforms and digital technologies.
- Support strategic pursuits, RFP responses and business development activities by shaping compelling value propositions and transformation narratives.
- Produce executive-level presentations and recommendations that align business objectives with technology investments.
- Ensure business value remains at the centre of solution design and programme execution.
- 10+ years of experience within Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Digital Transformation, Consulting or related industries.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical operations, manufacturing processes, technology transfer and regulated GxP environments.
- Experience leading business transformation initiatives and engaging with senior client stakeholders.
- Good understanding of digital manufacturing ecosystems including MES, LIMS, Automation, Historian, Data Platforms or related technologies.
- Exposure to Data, AI, Knowledge Management, Digital Thread or advanced analytics initiatives.
- Proven ability to translate complex business challenges into structured transformation roadmaps and technology-enabled solutions.
- Experience contributing to strategic pursuits, proposals, RFPs or pre-sales activities.
- Excellent facilitation, communication and storytelling skills.
- Strong analytical mindset combined with pragmatic problem-solving capabilities.
- Native German speaker with excellent English communication skills.
