Engagement lead & Project Manager – Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Implementations
Overview
Position Detail:
We are seeking a proactive, grounded, and experienced Project Manager to join our team. This is a critical role within our fast-growing Dynamics 365 and Power Platform consultancy. You’ll work closely with a highly technical development team and a hands-on leadership group to deliver successful software projects for our clients.
The ideal candidate thrives in environments with minimal structure, takes ownership of timelines and risk management, and can confidently shepherd complex projects through to delivery – staying on top of things is the key skill we are looking for.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage 2–3 active projects concurrently, ensuring timelines, budgets, and deliverables are clearly tracked and maintained
- Develop and maintain project plans, risk registers, and stakeholder communications
- Monitor scope, budget, and resource allocations, proactively addressing potential issues
- Lead or participate in Agile ceremonies and hybrid delivery models, as appropriate
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to internal leadership and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal functional leads, developers, and clients to drive projects forward
- Take ownership of assigned project directives and ensure accountability throughout the team
- Project Types: CRM implementations, customer service systems, web portals, system migrations, and third-party integrations
- Project Nature: Primarily lift-and-shift solutions replacing legacy systems, with a subset of rescue and optimization engagements
- Delivery Model: Predominantly fixed-price engagements executed using Agile or hybrid Agile-Waterfall methodologies
- Team Dynamics: Highly technical internal teams with evolving process maturity; the Project Manager is expected to provide structure and delivery discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project coordination or management roles within a technical or software implementation environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project resources effectively
- Proven experience managing concurrent projects of medium complexity and duration
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including client-facing reporting
- Proactive mindset with a commitment to accountability, follow-through, and continuous improvement
- Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies; familiarity with SCRUM is an asset
- Comfortable working in remote or hybrid teams with a high degree of autonomy
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or equivalent certifications are considered an asset
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform is strongly preferred
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar project tracking tools is an advantage
- 10+ years of overall professional experience preferred
