SAP Architect

Mphasis is looking for an experienced SAP FICO Architect (8 to 20 years of experience) in Frankfurt am Main.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, FICO, Fiori, SAC, BPC, and Analysis for Office (AO), combined with solid functional knowledge of Finance, Accounting, Controlling, SD, MM, Tax, Treasury, and Lease Management. The successful candidate will have participated in multiple end-to-end SAP implementations and possess strong experience in cross-functional integration within complex SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, RAR, Lease Management, Project Costing, and Profitability Analysis.
• Act as the SAP Financials integration lead across key modules and processes, including SD, MM, BW, BPC, PTP, and OTC.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
• Drive solution design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.
• Analyze and optimize existing business processes through SAP best practices and cross-functional integration.
• Develop functional specifications for custom developments and support development teams during implementation.
• Manage risks, resolve system issues, and contribute to SAP upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor team members and support knowledge sharing across the SAP organization

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-10 years of SAP FICO consulting and configuration experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Controlling, Tax, Treasury, Bank Interfaces, and CO-PA.
• Good understanding of SD and MM integration with SAP Finance.
• Experience delivering at least three full-cycle SAP implementation projects, preferably in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work effectively in international and fast-paced environments.
• SAP certifications are considered a plus.
