What You'll Do
- Develop and execute FSCB's enterprise-wide payments strategy.
- Identify opportunities in real-time payments, digital wallets, embedded finance, and emerging technologies.
- Drive innovation through new products, partnerships, and process improvements.
- Manage key vendor and technology relationships, including Mastercard®, Jack Henry, Q2, Shazam, FIS, Entrust, CPS, and ProfitStars.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance, risk management, and operational excellence across all payment channels.
- Partner with teams across Retail, Business Services, Operations, IT, Compliance, and Risk Management to implement strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on payment trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Represent FSCB with industry partners, FinTechs, and professional organizations.
- You're a strategic thinker who sees what's next and isn't afraid to challenge the status quo.

- Proven experience in payments strategy, product development, or treasury management, preferably in a financial institution or fintech environment.
- Strong understanding of payment systems including ACH, wires, card networks, mobile payments, and real-time payments (TCH, FedNow).
- Experience working with core and digital banking platforms (e.g., Jack Henry, Q2) and payment vendors.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience managing teams and cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally for conferences, vendor meetings, or market visits.
- A passion for innovation, customer experience, and the future of financial services.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations (e.g., 6-8 hours with breaks).
- Occasionally required to stand or walk short distances.
- Manual dexterity for using keyboard, mouse and telephone system.
- Visual acuity to read computer screens and written documents.
- Occasionally lifting office supplies, files and small packages (typically up to 10-25 lbs.)
- Ability to hear and understand spoken communication, including customer (internal and external) inquiries and phone conversations.
- Ability to speak clearly and be understood in person and over the phone.
