Logistics and Materials Specialist

Reliability, commitment and attention to detail are critical in this role, along with attendance and punctuality.
Essential Duties Include:
Material Quality Review
- Perform inspections and quality tests on all incoming materials to ensure standards compliance
- Approve or reject materials based on quality control tests and observed conditions.
- Assist in processing claims related to defective or non-compliant materials
- Maintain detailed documentation of quality control processes and results.
- Assist with incoming and outgoing shipping and courier services.
- Pack and prepare finished jobs and label pallets for shipment once production is complete.
- Prepare shipping paperwork and documentation including BOL, packing slips, etc.
- Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accurate delivery address and any special requests for timelines, notifications, etc are met.
- Send shipment confirmations and related documentation to customers.
- Oversee materials processes, ensuring both incoming and outgoing stock is properly recorded.
- Coordinate and execute inventory transfers between warehouses.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of materials according to industry and company standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Ability to use a computer including Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms
- Willingness to learn new computer tools, such as a specific ERP
- Ability to organize and maintain information
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to clearly summarize and express quality concerns in both written and verbal forums
- English-Spanish Bilingual a plus
- Must be able to stand for long periods, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
