Systems Administrator
We're looking for a Systems Administrator to manage and support the organization's core technology infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing server, network, and communications environments while partnering with internal users and third-party vendors to ensure day-to-day business operations run efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Manage and maintain enterprise server infrastructure, ensuring systems remain secure, available, and optimized for business operations.
- Monitor network performance across LAN, WAN, VPN, wireless, and other connectivity environments while proactively identifying and resolving performance issues.
- Install, configure, test, and deploy infrastructure updates, security patches, hardware replacements, and system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot complex server, network, connectivity, and infrastructure-related issues while providing timely technical support to internal users.
- Administer user accounts, permissions, identity management, and security controls while supporting company cybersecurity initiatives and best practices.
- Maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes to ensure critical systems and data remain protected.
- Partner with technology vendors, telecommunications providers, and external support teams to maintain infrastructure services and resolve escalated technical issues.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, system configurations, hardware inventories, network diagrams, and operational procedures.
- Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend technology improvements that increase reliability, performance, scalability, and security.
- Support enterprise communication technologies, including business phone systems and related network infrastructure.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience administering enterprise server and network environments.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, or comparable enterprise infrastructure platforms.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, SD-WAN, and network security principles.
- Experience configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure and connectivity across multiple locations.
- Hands-on experience supporting virtualization, remote access solutions, or remote desktop environments such as Microsoft Remote Desktop Services or Citrix.
