Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Authority & Ownership
- Act as the lead authority for infrastructure within assigned projects.
- Own all infrastructure-related decisions, validations, and outcomes.
- Ensure solutions are aligned with business needs, technical standards, and long-term sustainability.
- Project Delivery Leadership
- Lead the infrastructure scope across all project phases (design, implementation, validation, and closure).
- Ensure delivery meets agreed timelines, milestones, and quality expectations.
- Proactively identify risks and enforce corrective actions.
- Vendor Governance & Control
- Take full ownership of technical engagement with vendors and system integrators.
- Review, challenge, and approve all vendor deliverables.
- Enforce accountability and ensure vendors meet contractual and technical obligations.
- Design Assurance & Governance
- Review and approve architecture designs, HLDs, and LLDs.
- Ensure consistency, completeness, and adherence to standards.
- Identify design gaps, conflicts, and risks, and drive resolution.
- Cross-Domain Coordination
- Ensure alignment between infrastructure, applications, and security domains.
- Validate readiness for system integrations and project dependencies.
- Handover & Delivery Closure
- Ensure all infrastructure deliverables are complete prior to handover.
- Validate readiness for transition to operations teams.
- Ensure proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and closure compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 15+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with strong experience in leading infrastructure delivery within complex projects.
- Deep experience in infrastructure technologies including: Network architecture (routing, switching, security); Systems, virtualization, and enterprise infrastructure platforms
- Strong understanding of:
Leadership & Delivery
- Proven track record in owning infrastructure scope within large-scale projects.
- Strong experience in managing vendors and enforcing delivery quality.
- Ability to operate independently and drive outcomes.
- Extensive experience in design reviews, validation, and enforcing standards.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and regulatory frameworks.
- Strong leadership presence and decision-making capability.
- Ability to challenge vendors and stakeholders constructively.
- High accountability and ownership mindset.
- Experience in large-scale or critical infrastructure environments.
