Senior Information Technology Advisor

Endurance IT Services is looking to add to our Managed Services practice! This titled vCIO is a strategic advisor who helps clients align technology, cybersecurity, and IT investments with their business goals. This role builds executive relationships, develops technology roadmaps, conducts business reviews, and drives proactive planning that improves efficiency, security, and long-term business outcomes.

Location: Virginia Beach

Work Arrangement: Onsite with local client visits

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic business reviews with client leadership.
• Develop and manage technology roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Identify technology and security risks and recommend solutions.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams on solution design, projects, and client strategy.
• Support client onboarding and ongoing technology planning.
• Drive client satisfaction, retention, and growth opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience working directly with clients on IT-related initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server environments, virtualization, networking, and cybersecurity technologies.
• Experience developing strategic technology plans, roadmaps, and business recommendations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences.
• Strong consultative, relationship-building, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience identifying, managing, and supporting technology solution opportunities within existing client accounts.
• Ability to balance business objectives, security requirements, technical best practices, and budget considerations.
