Are you a problem-solver with a passion for markets, data, and technology? Geneva Trading is seeking exceptional students to join our Summer 2027 Geneva Trading Internship Program. This is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience at a leading proprietary trading firm where innovation, collaboration, and performance drive everything we do.
Over 10 fast-paced weeks, you’ll work on impactful projects, receive one-on-one mentorship, and develop the skills needed to thrive in the world of algorithmic trading. Our internship is a direct pipeline to full-time roles after graduation.
What You’ll Do
- Explore and innovate with new AI models, frameworks, and developer tools to help identify high-potential technologies for internal workflows.
- Experiment and prototype specific engineering problems by prototyping AI-driven tools, automation, and assistants alongside senior mentorship.
- Assist in tracking metrics around developer efficiency, tool adoption, and solution effectiveness.
- Collaborate and share findings, demonstrate prototypes, and collaborate with engineers to help drive technology adoption.
- Collaborate with traders and technologists to solve complex, high-impact problems.
- Present your work to senior leaders and receive actionable feedback.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from students pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degrees in:
- Financial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, or other STEM fields.
Graduation Dates: December 2026 – June 2027
Required Skills
- Experience with agent orchestration frameworks or multi-step AI workflows.
- Interest or background in trading, fintech, or other performance-sensitive environments.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build, and/or Gemini.
- Proficiency in Python and comfort with fundamental software development practices.
- Hands-on exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or modern AI tooling through coursework, research, or personal projects.
- Curiosity, fast learning velocity, and an eagerness to tackle open-ended technical challenges.
- Strong collaborator with good communication skills and ability to work cross functionally.
- Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts and project outcomes to peers and mentors.
- Curiosity about financial markets, algorithmic trading, and market microstructure.
- Ability to think critically and communicate complex ideas clearly.

Compensation:
Hourly Range: $55-65/hr
The final hourly rate will be dependent on the successful candidate's skills, experience, education, and qualifications.
