SAP Implementation Specialist

Role Description The SAP Implementation Specialist is a contract, on-site role based in San Juan. This role is responsible for planning, configuring, and implementing SAP modules, with a focus on aligning system functionality to client business processes and operational requirements. Daily tasks include analyzing current workflows, gathering requirements, designing SAP solutions, performing system configuration and testing, and supporting data migration activities. The specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams, conducts user training, and provides post-implementation support and troubleshooting to ensure stable system performance. The role also involves identifying opportunities for process improvement and advising stakeholders on best practices for SAP utilization within complex IT environments.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Business Process analysis and design, with experience in Business Process Improvement.
• Hands-on expertise with SAP FICO, including configuration, integration, and support within enterprise environments.
• Background in Consulting, with the ability to translate client requirements into effective SAP solutions.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management processes and their integration with SAP and related business systems.
• Experience with full-cycle SAP implementations, including requirements gathering, testing, training, and go-live support.
• Ability to work on-site in San Juan and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and documentation quality.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity, business continuity, or enterprise service management concepts is a plus.
• Professional SAP certifications or similar credentials are advantageous.
