Job Purpose:
As a Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing scalable, secure, and high-
performing technology solutions that align with business objectives and enterprise architecture standards. You
will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, engineering, and infrastructure teams to translate
business requirements into robust technical solutions.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise who can lead architecture initiatives, ensure
technology alignment across systems, and drive innovation while maintaining governance and best practices.
You will play a critical role in shaping the organization’s technology landscape and ensuring long-term scalability,
resilience, security, and maintainability of enterprise solutions with Saudi Vision 2030.
Key Accountabilities:
- Define end-to-end solution architectures that meet business and technical requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability,
- performance, and security.
- Review business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and
- requirements for the solution, recommending potential options (which may include RFIs, RFPs, or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.
- Directly assists in the development of a solutions architecture program including departmental roadmaps and project portfolios for IT systems architecture.
- Work with UI/UX teams to translate wireframes and comps into interactive HTML/CSS/JavaScript
- Translate functional and non-functional requirements into detailed architectural designs and technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain solution architecture blueprints, reference architectures, and technical standards.
- Lead architecture design sessions, technical reviews, and provide guidance to development and infrastructure teams.
- Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture principles, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Design and implement cloud-native and hybrid architectures across platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Architect microservices-based, API-driven, and event-driven solutions where appropriate.
- Ensure seamless integration between enterprise systems, third-party applications, and legacy platforms.
- Identify technical risks, constraints, and dependencies, and define mitigation strategies.
- Define security architecture including identity and access management, encryption, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
- Drive high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and automation.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions aligned with business strategy.
- Participate in vendor evaluations and technology selection processes.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Ensure alignment between IT strategy, digital transformation initiatives, and project delivery.
Job Requirements:
- Should hold an Engineering Degree (BE / BTech) in Computer Science, Information
- Systems
- MBA or MSc.IT is preferable
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in software development, systems architecture, or
- enterprise solution design.
- Proven experience designing enterprise-grade applications and distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of architecture patterns (microservices, SOA, event-driven
- architecture).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong understanding of API design, integration patterns, and middleware
- technologies.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, data governance, and compliance
- frameworks.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure systems, such as servers, networks, storage, databases, and security.
- In depth understanding of coding languages
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.
- Architecture certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions
- Architect, or equivalent are preferred.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to
- non-technical stakeholders.
